Clinic Hosts 13th Annual Champions Gala
The Order of Malta Clinic of Northern California celebrated its 13th Annual Champions Gala on September 28 at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. The event raised critical funds for the free medical clinic, that has been in operation for 13 years and served more that 40,000 patients. This year’s event theme honored the “spirit of the volunteer,” a celebration of the contributions of the 50+ volunteer physicians, nurses, staff and board members that power the Clinic.
The program honored Dr. Gianrico Farrugia, MD and Ann and Bill Regan with the distinguished Silver Chalice awards. The Regans have been long-time supporters of the Clinic and helped raise more than $1 million in the Clinic’s infancy.
